As a Lloyds Registered Independent Connection Provider (ICP), Engineered Systems (Electrical) (ESE) were successful in designing, managing, constructing, and commissioning connections for a wide range of import and export loads for the renewable energy sector.
We work throughout the UK and are experienced and committed to working to the rules and regulations of the local Distribution Network Operators, liaising with their project teams and carrying out an install professionally and on time.
Two projects we are currently carrying out are the 33kV connections of a 10MW windfarm and 14.1MW windfarm in Moray, Scotland.
Engineered Systems (Electrical) Ltd have successfully designed and gained approval from the local DNO. Between September 2015 and December 2015 9KM of trench work was carried out throughout a variety of environments, and a cumulative total of 20.1km of 33kV and Fibre Optic Duct was installed on time and to the satisfaction of the clients and all stakeholders.
ESE have remobilised after a short winter break and are currently carrying out the install of 8km of 33kV over headlines for the latter part of one windfarm connection, and have the 14.1 km of 33kV underground cable install to begin in April.
ESE is on schedule for having these wind farms energised on time and on budget. Please check back to keep updated on our progress!
