Thank you to all our staff who have donated to such a worthwhile cause to provide support for our local community.
We chose to make a food donation to Leeds South & East Foodbank as it is local to ESE, and a charity which requires extra support due to the strain of Covid-19, with more people than ever now relying on foodbanks. This foodbank, supported by the Trussel Trust was started in October 2013 with one distribution centre which has now increased to eleven throughout the community. They provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in a crisis, working to combat poverty and hunger in the local area.
