High voltage electrical contractor, Engineered Systems (Electrical) Ltd have completed the electrical infrastructure installation at a new state of the art Subcoal Energy Pellet Production Plant in Teesside UK. The new production facility will supply pellets to different outlets, including coal fired power stations helping to convert them to a 100% waste derived fuel.
ESE Ltd carried out the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new intake substation and transformer substation. The new intake substation included a Schneider SF6 Isolator and two SF6 circuit breakers. ESE Ltd then installed 250 meters of high voltage cable at high level leading to the new transformer substation. This substation contained the new 2MVA transformer that will feed the production plant.
