High voltage electrical contractor, Engineered Systems (Electrical) Ltd have completed work upgrading the distribution network at worldwide leading agricultural feed manufacturer in Bradford.
The Agricultural manufacture’s main intake substation had become outdated and presented a weakness in their electrical distribution network. The decision was made to replace the existing 3 panel South wales 11kV switchboard, with a new 4 panel Schneider Genie Evo extensible switchboard. The equipment was procurement, delivered, installation and commissioned by ESE Ltd.
As the client manufacturer facility is continuously in production it was vital that the shutdown period had to minimise disruption to site. ESE Ltd worked out of hours on a time restraint programme to make sure the works was carried out within the agreed timescales.
The old oil filled equipment was removed from site in an environmentally friendly way and was recycled accordingly, providing a new reliable infrastructure for many years to come.
